As promised, here are a few shots from my whirlwind New York City trip. Please forgive the photo quality as I traveled with a pocket sized point and shoot. We were there for all of 24 hours and the weather was frightfully cold but we had a wonderful time nonetheless. My mom came home with a suitcase full of clothes and I came back with a head filled with inspiration. Several of the stores I had hoped to visit were closed during the post-holiday lull, but lucky for me I will be headed back to the City in February.

Can you tell us the name of the store in the first photo with all of the blue/white porcelain? Thanks!
Jackie-
It's John Rosselli. You can also find very affordable blue and white at Pearl River Mart in Soho.
Me too, me too!! I want to go to New York!!

The wall of sconces is at John Rosselli as well. Happy travels. Love that city!
Great pics- so glad you had fun!
Thank you so much for sharing that the store is John Rosselli...just one block from where I drop off our dog for doggie day care! I didn't realize that they allowed non-trade through their doors. Have you ever been to William-Wayne on Lex & 64th? It's a fabulous home decor/hostess gift store. Definitely worth checking out when you are back in NY!
Jackie-
Yes, they do allow those who are not members of the trade at John Rosselli but you will pay higher prices without a designer. I did go to William Wayne while was in NYC. I picked up a set of new bamboo flatware. Happy Shopping!!
