Sorry for the lack of posts as of late. It has been quite hard to press on with blogging while our community is enduring such hardship and suffering. There are many people we know and love that have been deeply affected by the flooding in Nashville. I am going to step away from the blog for the remainder of the week to focus on those things I hold most dear, my faith, my family and friends. Continuing prayers for the people of Nashville. I wish the national media were still covering that disaster. I don't think that people understand just how devastating it was.
My Mother tells me such vivid stories of the 1927 Ohio River flood in Louisville when she was a child. She has the most amazing photos which I should post on. For her, it was a time of "togetherness" and that she remembered. Times like these bring out families and communities to regain normalcy. I shall pray for you and all the families trying to regain life.
