I am swooning over the elegant 70's inspired sportswear that came down Tory Burch runway today. These pieces are so chic, wearable, and outside of the tunic and "Reva -flat" box that she inhabited for one too many seasons. It seems earth-tones punctuated with a pop of vibrant color is a trend for Spring and I couldn't be loving it more. Whether it manifested in a clothing ensemble or a living room these color combos are tres chic!

You and I are on the same page - love the shots you picked and that leather skirt is a very similar color to the trench I loved at Michael Kors. Since orange is my favorite color I of course love the interiors, especially the first. Also adore Marina Rust - although people never pick her, she reminds me of a modern Jackie. Great post!
I love Tory Burch's style. Loving all the images with orange in them! As you know, it is my absolute favorite accent color in a home (and in fashion!)
As a huge fan of Tory's from the beginning...I love seeing her evolution. Spring is looking mighty promising on the fashion front!

You must be skinny! If Tory Burch ever stops making those flattering tunics, I will personally start a riot, a picket line and demand my rights to look 10lbs thinner.
Earth tones..... I am making a strange connection to the early 70's when you also couldn't make any interest on your money. I'm wondering about the connection of fashion to the economy. You've heard of the hemline theory--short hemlines=stock market boom. I wonder how that translates to homes. Thanks for the inspiration. I hope thinking burns a lot of calories!

!st time Napa.......surprised my husband (30 years ago!) at 6 am.......he said......"I'm not going on that! I said....."Yes you are......I paid 1200 dollars for the 4 of us!)
He did.......and it was magic. total magic.
Second time.........Africa.......the Masai Mara........with my daughter who was 16..now 40!!!!!!!!!!!!

3rd..Rancho Santa fe California.............actually twice..........so fun.......wafting everywhere.......and they don't know where you will go.....because of the wind.......the jeeps have to follow...........
the most magical air travel.
So.......My suggestion........if you have an opportunity........go in a balloon!!!!!!!!!!!!
