Yes, looking forward to the film on PBS - and btw - if you're interested, I posted a preview of it on his birthday last month.
One really good thing about being so old! I was in a "box" (that means in the very front.....and center) at the Hollywood Bowl one of the two nights the Beatles performed there....my mother bought the "box" (six seats) because she thought it was a "symphony" or something! She called her "ticket agent".....this was the "good old days"!
It was totally beyond.........we were twenty feet from the stage......everyone was screaming in the audience.......but the charisma....and the feeling from those guys.......was palpable.......back to the people who climbed up in the trees behind the "bowl".
Never will I forget it.......nor my 5 friends!!!!!!!!!
Magic. It happens now and then........and those guys playing and singing together was nothing short of magic. I am so lucky.
